Head coach Marissa Welch said that she was proud of how her team played all year.

"It's a hard loss," she said. "We brought a tough team, energy, confidence, but we just couldn't come up with four wins. I'm proud of the girls and the season they had. I'm still shocked that it's over. We had that good of a team!"

Individual section play starts on Oct. 9 but pairings have not yet been posted.
