The Hastings Raider girls' tennis team started the 2021 season with a 5-2 win over Northfield Friday at the Roadside Courts. The Raiders swept all four singles matches and went 1-2 in doubles.

Claire Keller swept her No. 1 singles opponent 6-0, 6-0 and Charlotte Kranz took No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-1. Autumn Winkler was victorious in No. 3 singles 6-1, 6-1 and Brooklyn Keller finished off the singles sweep with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles. 

Chloe Konrady and Reese Keller teamed up for No. 1 doubles and lost 6-4, 6-2. Molly Moran and Ellie Haas took No. 2 doubles 6-3, 6-4 while Ruby Rotty and Brooke Jelley fell in a tight No. 3 doubles match 6-4, 1-6, 10-7.

The Raiders had a scrimmage Monday at East Ridge, host Burnsville Tuesday morning at the Roadside Courts and then host Rosemount, Visitation and another school in an invitational on Friday.
