The Hastings Raiders girls' tennis team lost in the Team Section 3AA quarterfinals to the Park Wolfpack last Thursday, Oct. 7, 5-2.

Hastings dropped three of four singles matches and two out of three doubles. Claire Keller fell at No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-4; Reese Keller lost No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-3 and Autumn Winkler dropped No. 3 singles 6-1, 6-3. Brooklyn Keller swept No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles, the team of Charlotte Kranz and Molly Moran lost in the No. 1 slot 7-5, 6-2; Chloe Konrady and Ellie Haas lost No. 2 doubles 6-4, 6-3 and Ruby Rotty and Mikayla Schuster took No. 3 doubles 6-2, 6-4.

Park followed up their win over Hastings with a 4-3 victory over No. 3 Visitation before falling 4-3 in the championship to top-seeded Simley.

Next up for the Raiders is individual sections October 18-19.
