Hastings High School athletic director Trent Hanson announced last Wednesday the hiring of new Raiders girls hockey coach Jim Joseph.

Joseph replaces former head coach Tim Duggan, who led the program the past three seasons.

Joseph was most recently an assistant girls hockey coach at Cretin-Derham Hall and Woodbury but also has head coaching experience at River Falls (WI) and Simley. His credentials as head coach include two Conference Coach of the Year nods, and he has coached multiple collegiate athletes. Joseph also served as an evaluator and coach for the USA Hockey Player Development Programs in Wisconsin for 15 years.

Hastings went 21-50 in the three years under Duggan.
