Prescott High School senior Samuel Murphy has been chosen as the Prescott Kiwanis Student of the Week.
Murphy was nominated by his teacher Jordan Poirier for showing tremendous growth in his academic career.
"He has continually improved academically and as a person," Poirier said. "He always puts his best foot forward and strives to be the best version of himself."
Aside from his academics, Murphy is heavily involved in wrestling at Prescott High School and plans to go to a four-year college to compete in wrestling.Â
