Sophomore Reese Ptacek has been chosen as Prescott Kiwanis Student of the Week.
Ptacek was nominated by English teacher Tracey Budworth for being a driven and respectful student.
"Reese strives for excellence in everything she does," Budworth said. "She goes above and beyond in and outside of the classroom. Reese’s work is always done, and it is always done well."
Ptacek palys volleyball at Prescott High School and plans to play it in college. She also wants to go into the engineering field after high school.
