Abigail Maier

Senior Abigail Maier has been chosen as Prescott Kiwanis Student of the Week.

Maier was nominated by Ms. Charles for being a hardworking student who is always respectful towards her peers.

"In all of her years at the high school, Abbi has always been a kind, hardworking student who shows maturity beyond her years," Charles said.

Outside of school, Maier said she is involved in community service through 4-H and enjoys hanging out with friends and family.

Community service, employment and outside clubs:

"I do a lot of different community service through 4-H, some of those include ditch clean-up twice a year, and we donate to many different charities. And I work at Dicks Fresh Market in River Falls as a cashier."

Hobbies or interests:

"Some of my hobbies and interests include going shopping, and some baking, and I like to hang out with my family and friends in my free time."

Future plans:

"My future plans are that I plan on going to CVTC in Eau Claire to go into the central service technician program and the surgical technician program at CVTC and become a surgical technician."
