Lee Steingart, age 84, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2017 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Lee was a Catholic woman of deep faith who devoted her life to her family. She was born near Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on March 9, 1933. On November 24, 1956 she married John Steingart and in 1964 they moved their young family to the United States. They resided in Wheaton IL, Hastings MN, Fountain Hills AZ, and lastly Scottsdale AZ. While raising 3 active boys Lee managed to become an accomplished golfer, bridge player, curler (shuffle board on ice) and knitter.
Her family was her pride and joy and the greatest blessing of her life. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years (John), 3 sons (David Steingart of Edina MN, Bruce Steingart of Eau Claire WI, and Kevin Steingart of San Antonio TX), 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and her brother (Tony Pulak of Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada).
Funeral services were held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 22nd at the Church of the Ascension, 12615 N. Fountain Hills Blvd, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268. A private (family-only) commitment immediately followed the funeral service.
