The 58th annual SEAS Patriot Basketball Tournament took place Feb. 9-10 with both the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton girls and boys "A" teams playing along with the Hastings boys traveling teams. Despite not having a girls division, SEAS girls took on St. Bridget's of River Falls.

The energy from the home crowd fueled the girls to a 26-17 victory over the Celtics. The leading scorers for the Patriots was Abby Doffing with eight points, and Chloe Konrady and Nicole Judge each added six.

The SEAS boys team battled tough but came up short on Friday night, losing to Hastings Blue 37-28. Patriot leading scorers were Casey Steinmetz with 15 and Dominic Shemon with six.

The Hastings Blue team went on to defeat St. Patrick's in double overtime 39-37 before losing in the championship game to Transfiguration 54-29.

Hastings Gold defeated St. Patrick's 39-17 to take third place.

The following players were named to the All-Tournament Team: Community of Saints Jose Garcia, Immaculate Conception Emanuel Akon, St. Patrick's Edward Reece, Hastings Gold Owen Glade and Michael Mitchell, Hastings Blue Will Hubbard and Jayden Lindsay; and Transfiguration Jack Schoenecker, Nino Johnson and Sam Yanz.
