Gobble Gait is an annual run/walk in Hastings on Thanksgiving that raises funds for Hasting Family Service

Registration for the 24th annual Gobble Gait race is now open and can all be done online this year.

Gobble Gait has a new website, GobbleGait.com, so click the "registration" button at the top of the site to sign up for the race.

Gobble Gait is an 8k and 3k run/walk held on Thanksgiving morning that has helped raised over $1.5 million to support Hastings Family Service  programs and services.

“This event has allowed HFS to respond to the changing needs of the community over time,” Chris Koop, HFS Executive Director, said. “And it is such a fun way to start a holiday that is all about being thankful.”

This years’ presenting sponsors are Vermillion Bank and Smead, but sponsorships are still available and can be submitted online

This outdoor, family-friendly run begins at 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 25 and has a festive atmosphere with music and downtown Hastings’ businesses open and ready to serve.

Early Turkey registration for a reduced price is available through Nov. 7 at $30 for the 8k, $10 for the 3K and $30 for Family 3k registration.

Prices will increase to standard registration on Nov 8. at $35 for the 8k and late registration on Nov. 23 is $40 for the 8k.
