Lions Park ice rink

Lions Park ice rink has designated areas for hockey players and recreational skaters.

With the cold winter weather settling in, Hastings’ outdoor ice rinks are open for the season and ready to take skaters.

The city has been flooding the rinks daily to build ice and all locations open up Monday, Jan. 3.

Ice rink hours

Monday-Friday: 4 - 9 p.m.

Saturday: 12 - 9 p.m.

Sunday: 12 -8 p.m.

No school days: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Rink locations

Lake Isabel Park ice rink

Lake Isabel Park's ice rink opens Monday for recreational use.

Lake Isabel Park - 2nd St E and Franklin St

This recreational rink has no operating warming house. Hockey cannot be played on recreational rinks.

Lions Park - 5th Street W and State Street

Lions Park rink can be used for recreational and hockey use. The warming house is open during rink hours.

Pioneer Park - 16th Street W and Pine Street

Pioneer Park rink can be used for recreational and hockey use. The warming house is open during rink hours.

Wallin Park - General Sieben and Northridge Drive

Wallin Park rink can be used for recreational and hockey use. The warming house is open during rink hours.
