Hastings City Hall

City Hall is located at 101 4th St E, Hastings.

Schedule a free curbside pick-up for your mattresses and box springs by calling Certified Recycling at 952-894-1448.

Available for the first 70 units in good condition, on a first-come, first served basis.

Mattresses will go to support Bridging, a nonprofit that provides furniture and other items to households seeking housing stability.

Bridging is facing a severe bed shortage due to COVID-19 and supply chain interruptions that are affecting donations from manufacturers.

Acceptable items:

  • Mattresses and box springs that are good quality, gently used, or new
  • Must be clean, with no stains, rips, strong odors, or pet hair
  • Twin, full, queen, or king size
  • No cribs, cots, electrical beds, bunk beds, trundle beds, sleeper sofas, roll-a-ways or mattress toppers; memory foam is okay

Not sure if you should donate an item? Ask yourself if you would feel comfortable giving it to a friend or family member. Items may be refused that do not meet these quality standards.
