FARMINGTON, MINN. -- David McKnight, City Administrator, submitted his resignation to the Farmington City Council on Monday, Feb. 7.
“I have enjoyed my ten plus years as the Farmington City Administrator,” said McKnight. “But it is time for someone else to lead the organization and continue to prepare Farmington for a great future.”
David has accepted a new position with another organization, and his last day with Farmington will be Friday, March 11. He has worked for the city since 2011.
“We thank David for his dedication and years of service to the City of Farmington, it’s residents, employees, current elected officials and past,” said Mayor Joshua Hoyt. “We wish him well in his future endeavors.”
