Jack-o-lantern Pumpkin Carved Pumpkin Lit Halloween

Bar Crawl and costume contest

When: Saturday, Oct. 30 from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.

Downtown Hastings bars and breweries are hosting a spooktacular bar crawl and costume contest this Saturday.

Prizes are given out for first, second and third place costume contest winners.

Bar crawl schedule:

8:30 p.m. Lock and Dam

9 p.m. Spiral Brewery

9:30 p.m. Fireside Social House

10 p.m. Hastings Tavern

10:30 p.m. Busted Nut

11 p.m. American Legion

11:30 p.m. Depot Bar and Grill

Halloween Candy Crawl

When: Sunday, Oct. 31 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Where: Second Street, Downtown Hastings

Hastings Downtown Business Association is bringing back Halloween Candy Crawl while trick-or-treating and other family activities.

Activities on Second Street will include mini golf, gaga ball and music.

Kids can also enjoy some cotton candy and hot chocolate handed out during the event.

Lucky U Stables Halloween on the Farm

When: Sunday, Oct. 31 from 12 to 4 p.m.

Where: Lucky U Stables located at 11050 Manning Ave. S, Hastings

Cost: $20 per family

The animals at Lucky U Stables will be dressed up in their best Halloween costumes for families to meet and pick their favorite costume.

Animals include chickens, bunnies, cows, sheep, goats, horses and Larry the llama.

Kids can dress up in their Halloween costumes to get some treats and play games at the farm.

Hastings Community Halloween Party

When: Friday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Where: Hastings High School

Cost: Non-perishable food donation or cash/check donation to Youth Impact Council Scholarship

Hastings Community Halloween Party will have activity stations from local businesses and a costume contest.
