Tina Folch Supports Us, Not Insurance Industry
Ive lived in District 54B (Cottage Grove) for more than 40 years. My husband and I raised our family here. I waited to retire until I was 70 years old to go on Social Security and Medicare and I looked forward to retiring. But when that reality finally occurred, I learned from my doctor that I had cancer. I went through a tough and long treatment to recover and the good news is, I'm now cancer-free.
What is disheartening to me is how my current State Representative has declared in his re-election campaign literature that he has "delivered" on lowering health care costs by working to pass "nationally-recognized" reforms. Moreover, he claims we now have more choices through reforms he passed into law that increase health insurance options, that offer more "flexibility" and that well "see costs decrease."
My costs have not gone down, have yours? No thanks, Representative. You can keep your empty promises. I have lived in this community for far too long to allow me to believe these misleading claims.
Tina Folch is running for House District 54B and I am supporting her. As a community leader and advocate, Tina will pass reforms to healthcare to benefit Minnesotans and not the health insurance industry. Im convinced that its time for a positive change in MN House District 54B.
I urge you to vote for Tina Folch for the MN House on Nov. 6th. Or you can vote early right now.
