Sue’s Garage Sales, located at 410 West Main St., is celebrating their five year anniversary beginning Thursday.

Sue’s Garage Sales will have store hours from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m., on Saturday this week.

Each day there will be free cupcakes, a spin-to-win opportunity to get up to $2.00 off that day's purchase, 50% off the entire store, guessing the number of washers to win $5, and donating to the Cannon Falls Teachers' drawing.

There are special events set up for each day. The following are the events and times during the five year anniversary celebration at Sue’s Garage Sales.

Thursday, August 5

  • 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Pan for Gold with Brent. Learn how to do it and try it yourself.

Friday, August 6

  • 1-4 p.m., FFA Corn Feed fundraiser. The Cannon Falls FFA students will be cooking and serving Josephson’s corn. All donations go to the Cannon Falls FFA organization.

Saturday, August 7

  • 11 a.m. -2 p.m., Diana from My Artful Gathering will be performing her brilliant and magical face painting.

There will be an ongoing fundraiser every day for the teachers of the Cannon Falls School District. For a donation, you can put your name in for a drawing that will be done on August 7.

The prize from the donation is a Minnesota Twins World Series baseball from 1991 signed by Twins players and a Forever diamond bracelet. Both are valued at $149 each.

All donations go to the Cannon Falls teachers.

Come one day or all three days and help us celebrate another five years serving the people, helping the needy, and keeping our environment clean by recycling and reusing.
