The Dakota County Board of Commissioners met on July 17, 2018, and took action with respect to the following matters:
Approvals/Authorizations: County Board Meeting Minutes - June 19, 2018. Right of Way Acquisition and Authorization to Initiate Quick Take Condemnation for CP 42-139 in Nininger Township. Final Plats Recommended by Plat Commission. Applications for 1 to 4 Day Temporary Intoxicating On-Sale Liquor Licenses for Dakota City Heritage Village, Dakota County Agricultural Society, Inc., Assemblage of Large Numbers of People License for Southern Cruzers Car Club and for Exempt Permit for St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Settlements with Carol A. Monter (Parcel 33) for CP 50-19 and KCP Propco, LLC, for CP 5-41 Acquisitions. Submit Transportation Coordination Grant Proposal, Execute Agreement with MnDOT, and Provide Local Share. Submit Application for 2019 and 2020 DHS Crisis Services Grant, if Awarded, Execute Grant Agreement, Accept Funding and Add .5 FTE Grant-Funded Employee in Social Services. Amend 2018 Social Services Adopted Budget to Add 3.0 FTE Truancy Social Workers. Submit Funding Application to MN DHS for a Coordinator of the Collaborative Intensive Bridging Services Program. Submit a Letter to DEED in Support of Dakota-Scott WDB's Subsequent Designation Request. Lease Agreement with State of MN Dept. of Administration on Behalf of MN DEED for Office Space at NSC. License Agreements with Avivo and HIRED for Office Space at NSC. Amend Limited Use Permit for CP 97-151, TH 110 Crossing Project in Mendota Heights. Sell Surplus Personal Property to Dakota County Agricultural Society. Agreements with MnDOT for Federal Participation on CP 31-87. Enter into Agreements with Progressive Rail Inc. for Crossing Improvements on CSAH 43, CP 43-50 in City of Eagan. Accept Grant Funds, Execute Grant Agreement with MDE. Submit Comments on MN Dept. of Agriculture's Proposed Groundwater Protection Rule. Joint Powers Agreements (JPAs) with City of Lakeville for Cost Share on Lake Marion Regional Greenway - Juno Trail Improvements and Greenway Feasibility Study from Downtown Lakeville to Murphy Hanrehan Regional Park, TriDistrict Community Education for Fall 2018 Master Recycler-Composter Class, Rice County for CP 96-07 and Cities of Coates and Rosemount for 2018 Landfill Host Community Environmental Legacy Fund Grants. Renew JPAs with ISDs 196 and 917 for School Resource Officer Services. Contracts for Data Center Upgrade Low Voltage Cabling and with WSB & Assoc., Inc., for Engineering Services on County Highway Projects. Contract Amendments for Microsoft Windows 10 Project Management Consultant, with Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc., for Additional Engineering Services on CP 5-47 and SRF Consulting Group, Inc., for Additional Engineering Services on CP 31-87. Acceptance of Resignation from Member of Dakota-Scott WDB. Appointments to Dakota-Scott WDB and Library Advisory Committee. Ratifications of Grant Application, Accept Grant Funds for Dakota County and for Metro Counties and Amend Contract for Dakota County Vendor and Dakota-Scott WDB's 2018-2019 Local Plan as Submitted to MN DEED and Authorization of County Board Chair to Sign Local Plan. Review of Proposed TIF Plan in City of Lakeville.
