Robin Bohmbach of Red Wing announces the engagement of her daughter Corey Elizabeth Rodewald-Bohmbach to Joseph Steven Topp. Corey has a paralegal certification, an Associate in Science and a Bachelor’s degree in legal studies. She is currently employed as an office manager at Coodin & Overson, P.L.L.P. Criminal Defense and Family Law paralegal. Joseph has earned his boilers license and an Associate in Science. He is currently employed at Flint Hills Resources in Rosemount and is the son of Tony and Mary Kay Topp of Hastings.
Josephina (Josie) Kathleen Weber was born on Dec. 30, 2014, at Woodwinds Hospital to Ashley and Michael Weber of Hastings. At birth Josie weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19.75 inches. Josie has two sisters, Emma and Sophia and one brother, Benjamin. Grandparents are Greg and Madeline Butler of Chaska and Kevin and Maureen Weber of Miesville. Great-grandparents are Jim and Jan Weber, Maripat Sheehan and Lorraine Butler.
Ralph Wolfe Henderson was born on March 12, 2014, at Regina Hospital’s Family Birthing Center to Amil and Carla Henderson of Prescott, Wis. At birth Ralph weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19.75 inches long. He has five siblings. They are Andre’, Owen, Violet, Andaria and Magnus. Grandparents are Robert and Judith Bishop and Joseph and Karleen Henderson, all of Hastings.

One is right here in Hastings at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish and the other is in Miesville. This year’s celebration will be held Sunday, March 15, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. The observance begins at 11 a.m. after the 10 a.m. Mass.

At birth Coy weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 21 inches long. He has three siblings. They are 8-year-old Boston, 3-year-old Bryce and 2-year-old Beckette. Coy’s grandparents are Jay and Patty Nicholls of Hastings and Frank and Cindy Miller of Mendota Heights. Coy’s great-grandparents are Marie Doll of Browns Valley and Esperanza Yanez of West St. Paul.
Ryland Jay Reames was born on July 30, 2014, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, Wis., to Todd and Morgan Reames of Eau Claire. At birth Ryland weighed 10 pounds, 6 ounces and was 22 inches long. He has one sister, Ari, who is 3 years old. Ryland’s grandparents are Patty and Jay Nicholls of Hastings, Laurie Reilly of Washburn, Wis., and Jeff and Enid Reames of Red Wing. Ryland’s great-grandmother is Marie Doll of Browns Valley.

Today, St. Joseph Catholic Church continues to be right at the center of the community reaching out with God’s word to parishioners and the area. In 1856, Joseph Fox walked to St. Paul to ask Bishop Cretin for a Catholic priest to baptize area children, hear confessions and distribute Holy Communion.
