Julie (Anderson) Entwistle, age 52, of Hastings, formerly of Minneapolis, has passed away. Preceded in death by husband, William, and daughter, Heidi Lovik. Survived by son, David (Amy Hendrickson) Bice; grandchildren, Bailey, Ethan, Angela, Terry, Bobby, and Brandon; brother, Thomas Anderson; sister, Mary (Ken) Lutgen; nieces and nephews; son-in-law, Scott. Karen M. Schulte, age 67, of Hastings, died March 17, 2010, at United Hospital in St. Paul. Karen was born May 5, 1942 in St. Paul to Russell and Harriet (Prochaska) Kenny. She was a graduate of St. Agnes High School. Karen married Leonard S. Schulte on June 14, 1975. She was a homemaker and loved quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents; and late husband, Jack Phipps. Karen is survived by her husband, Leonard; children, Gerald Phipps of St. Paul Park, James Phipps of St.
Judith Ann Passe, age 70, devoted mother, passed away on March 18, 2010, at the Lighthouse of Columbia Heights. Irene A. Fiedler, 95, of Prescott, Wis., died Monday, March 15, 2010, at home. She was born Feb. 5, 1915, in Nininger Township, Minn., to Henry and Emma (Krumm) Trapp. She married Leon Fiedler on Sept. 28, 1940. They farmed for many years on the Fiedler homestead. She enjoyed living on the farm and being a homemaker. Irene enjoyed raising chickens, gardening, making angel food cakes and coffeecake, embroidery, weaving rag rugs, and playing euchre.
Deloris Rother, age 81, of Vermillion, died March 12, 2010, at United Hospital in St. Paul. Deloris was born Sept. 30, 1928, in Farmington to Ludwig and Anna (Schiller) Wagner. Deloris was a graduate of Randolph High School, and married Le Roy Rother on June 23, 1948, in Cannon Falls. Deloris was an avid Twins fan, and enjoyed needlepoint. She will be greatly missed.
Clark A. "Butch" Westvik, 57, of Hastings, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis following a lengthy illness. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at the First English Lutheran Church, 511 W. Belle St., Cannon Falls, with the Reverend Phillip Ruud officiating. John G. Pasch, 88, of Cannon Falls, passed away Thursday morning, March 11, 2010, at the Angels Care Center following a lengthy illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 15, at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 410 W. Colville St., Cannon Falls, with the Reverend Jay K. Kythe officiating. Thomas M. Cieslak, age 60, of Finlayson, formerly of Hastings, passed away on March 10, 2010. Thomas was born Dec. 20, 1949, in Duluth, Minn., to Dominic and Evelyn Cieslak. He married Roxanne Pfeffer in 1973 in St. Paul at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He worked for 38 years at JLG.

George F. Hayek, age 78, of Hastings, formerly of St. Paul, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on March 5, 2010. George was born Jan. 1, 1932, in St. Paul to Frank and Leona Stadler. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandsons, Erin and Michael. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marie; children, Michele (Lincoln) Starkey, Michael Hayek, Melissa (Tim) Ozorio, Matthew (Lynn) Hayek, and Monica "Holly" Hayek.
