Robert Arland Eddy, age 79, passed away March 25, 2010 at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, Minn. Robert was born March 15, 1931 in Hastings to Kenneth and Mae (Wright) Eddy. He attended St. Olaf College, and received his law degree from the University of Minnesota. He enjoyed a successful career as an attorney for over 25 years until an illness prompted an early retirement.
Janice M. Pedersen, age 72, of Hastings, passed away March 22, 2010, at United Hospital in St. Paul. She was born Sept. 27, 1937, to Leonard and Rosella Bauer in Red Wing. Janice graduated in 1955 from Hastings High School. She worked for North Central Life for 35 years and loved doing her crafts, especially stitching and scrapbooking.
Danielle R. Solberg (nee Huether), age 26, passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2010. Services were held March 22 at Christ's Family Church in Hastings.
Ute A. Greller, age 71, of Hastings, died March 21, 2010, at her home. Ute was born Nov. 17, 1938, in Berlin, Germany. She was united in marriage to James Greller on April 9, 1964, in Germany. Prior to her retirement, Ute was employed as an assistant manager at Walmart for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Gundlach; mother, Annemarie (Gebhardt) Gundlach; and niece, Ute Gundlach. Ute is survived by her sons, John Greller of Miami, Fla.

Troy H. Herbst, age 85, of Hastings, Minn., passed away March 21, 2010. Preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Helen; brother, Vernon; and sisters, Doris, Dorothy, Marjorie, and Virginia. Survived by loving wife of 61 years, LaVina; son, Gary and his wife, Leslie; daughter, Christy Schmitt and her husband, Tom; son, Dean and his wife, Robin; grandchildren, Courtney and Amber Schmitt. Troy was a proud member of the USMC, serving in the South Pacific during WWII. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings.
Nichole L. "Rose" Jenny, age 39, of Lakeville, has passed away. Nichole was a 1988 graduate of Richfield High School. She went on to receive a bachelor's degree in nursing at Gustavus Adolphus College. She was a dedicated member of the nursing staff at Hennepin County Medical Center surgical unit for many years. In recent years, she served patients as an allergy nurse at Southdale Pediatrics. Nichole was a tremendous athlete with a lifelong dedication to fitness and athletics.
Julie (Anderson) Entwistle, age 52, of Hastings, formerly of Minneapolis, has passed away. Preceded in death by husband, William, and daughter, Heidi Lovik. Survived by son, David (Amy Hendrickson) Bice; grandchildren, Bailey, Ethan, Angela, Terry, Bobby, and Brandon; brother, Thomas Anderson; sister, Mary (Ken) Lutgen; nieces and nephews; son-in-law, Scott. Karen M. Schulte, age 67, of Hastings, died March 17, 2010, at United Hospital in St. Paul. Karen was born May 5, 1942 in St. Paul to Russell and Harriet (Prochaska) Kenny. She was a graduate of St. Agnes High School. Karen married Leonard S. Schulte on June 14, 1975. She was a homemaker and loved quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents; and late husband, Jack Phipps. Karen is survived by her husband, Leonard; children, Gerald Phipps of St. Paul Park, James Phipps of St.
Judith Ann Passe, age 70, devoted mother, passed away on March 18, 2010, at the Lighthouse of Columbia Heights.
