Thor Christopher Bradley Sr., 26, Red Wing, died Sunday, July 31, 2011, at his residence. He was born May 18, 1985, in Robbinsdale, Minn., the son of Garland Bradley Jr. and Charlene Roach. He grew up in North Minneapolis. The family moved to Hastings when he was 8 years old, and he attended schools there. He was a ski and snowboard instructor at Afton Alps for 5 years. He enjoyed skiing, snowboarding, motorcycle racing, and enjoyed being a fashionista.
Mildred "Mickie" Kampa, age 76, of Hastings, died Aug. 2, 2011, at her home. She was born July 26, 1935, in St. Cloud, Minn., to Raymond and Theresa (Bloomer) Muntifering. Mickie married Edward Kampa on April 27, 1957, in St. Cloud. She enjoyed music and crossword puzzles and was an avid Vikings fan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; siblings Jim and Bernice. Mickie is survived by her seven children, Jeff (Judy) of Woodbury, Randy, Julie, Rick (Linda), Dan (Cindy), Ed Jr.
Nancy L. Monroe, age 56, of Hastings, passed away at home Aug. 1, 2011. Nancy was born to Ralph and Lorraine Damsgard in Hastings on May 18, 1955. She married John "Henry" Monroe Nov. 21, 1980, at Our Saviour's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hastings. She was an active member of the VFW Auxiliary and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
Leon M. "Mac" Truax, age 89, of Hastings, passed away July 31, 2011, at Augustana Care Center in Hastings. He was born to Leon and Ruth Truax on Jan. 6, 1922, in Hastings. Leon was a World War II Navy veteran and an avid Twins fan. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Thomas Truax and Mary Jo Truax. He is survived by nieces and nephews, Patricia (William) Youngs, Thomas (Kathryn) Truax, Kim Truax, Katherine Stricker, Nora (Kenneth) Jost, Jerome (Judith) Truax, Leah Truax; many other relatives and friends. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Angela (Rose) Abel, 45, of Alpharetta, Ga., previously of Hastings, Minn., died July 28, 2011. Arrangements by SouthCare Cremation Society and Memorial Centers in Alpharetta, 678-735-5500.
Teresa Pauline Tobias, age 86, died peacefully at home in Prescott on July 29, 2011. She was surrounded by family with her loving husband at her side. Teresa was born on April 19, 1925, at home in Trimbelle Township, to Frank and Mary Katherine (Huppert) Schommer. She grew up on the family farm and moved to River Falls after graduating from Prescott High School and began work in a coverall factory, sewing army fatigues. On May 1, 1946, she married LeRoy Edward Tobias and moved to Prescott. Together they raised four children.
Ruby Soholt, 94, of Buffalo, Minn., died Thursday afternoon, July 28, 2011, at Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo. Ruby was born in Minneapolis on March 9, 1917, to Nels and Martha Quist. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, and graduated from Minneapolis South High School in 1935. Ruby married Maynard Soholt on May 1, 1946. God blessed the couple with two daughters, Kathryn and Barbara.
On July 28, 2011, at 3:32 a.m., Dr. Scott Williamson, BA. DC EMT, won his battle with bladder cancer and is resting peacefully in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born Nov. 21, 1953, in St. Paul, Minn.

James F. Dummer, age 53, of Hastings, passed away July 19, 2011, at his home. He was born May 20, 1958, in Hastings, to George and Margaret Dummer. James loved the outdoors and was an avid reader. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jerry Dixon, George Dummer Jr. James is survived by his son, Jason Dummer; brother Tom (Karen) Dixon; nieces, Heather, Holly, Michelle. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, at the Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Interment, St.
