From left to right James Wertish, Carlos Wilcox and Dan Drevnick. All three were memebers of the Minnesota National Guard Red Bull 34th Infantry Division. They were killed Thursday in an attack at their base in Basra, Iraq.
Minnesota National Guard Adjudant Gen. Larry Shellito said the Guardsmen "made the ultimate sacrifice."

Minneapolis and Woodbury police arrested Nora Lee Anderson, 45, on June 3 at her residence in Woodbury. Anderson has not been charged with any crime, but Minneapolis police investigators shut down a website she was running that they say was serving as an online meetup for prostitution.

Ian Talty, 30, died Sunday, April 25 after being swept into the Mississippi River near St. Paul. Talty and another man were exploring a tunnel when it filled with water from a rainstorm.
