Raiders Trap and Skeet teams remain in third after week four

The trap team continues to hold third place out of eight teams in Class 9A Conference 2 with 71,214.5 points behind Lakeville South in first (76,450 points) and Northfield in second (71,344 points).

No trap shooters placed in the state overall top 25 or 100. The following athletes placed in the conference top 25 by gender: males Ben Route (23.38), Dylan Chamberlain (22.75) and Cody Wagner (22.75); and females Caitlyn Wagner (18.25), Kiera McBeath (18.00), Nicolle Bond (18.00), Jenna Anderson (18.00), McKayla Kielas (17.75), Ana Spinler (17.38) and Elli Walker (17.38).

The skeet team also continues to hold their third place standing out of six teams in Class 1A Conference 4 with 1,780 points behind first-place Lakeville South (2167) and Wayzata in second (2,112 points). Skeet shooter Dylan Chamberlain (22.50) placed in the conference top 10 by gender and state overall top 25 (males/females mixed). No skeet shooters placed in the state overall top 10 by gender.

Congratulations to the following Straight Shooters for Competition Week 4: Croix Alverson, Dylan Chamberlain, Harlin Hacken, Garrett Rother, Jake Shimota (practice round), Cody Wagner (one official round and one practice round but not a straight 50). Jake Shimota's straight 25 (practice round) was also a straight 50 as his last round for week #3 was a 25. Because this week's 25 was a designated practice round it cannot be recognized by the league as a 50 straight. However the team would like to recognize him as this was the first straight 50 trap of the season. There were no straights for skeet this week.
