Volleyball: Raiders right the ship, win two Metro East contests

A wild up-and-down season became a little more stable over the past week for the Hastings volleyball team.
The stability came in the form of two solid Metro East Conference wins. Hastings beat Henry Sibley on Sept. 16 in three straight sets and then beat Tartan on Sept. 17, 3-2.
The Raiders dominated in the match against Sibley, winning 25-21, 25-15 and 25-6.

The win over the Titans was a close one, going all five sets.
Hastings lost the first two sets, 28-26 and 25-18. The Raiders, though, didn’t let up.
The team won the third set, 25-22, the fourth set 25-22 and then the deciding fifth and final set, 15-8.
