Deaver resigns from site manager post at LeDuc Historic Estate

The LeDuc Historic Estate's site manager, Amy Deaver, recently resigned from her position after four years of service at the site. The estate is owned by the City of Hastings, but managed by the Dakota County Historical Society.

The Dakota County Historical Society plans to review the position before beginning to find someone to fill the position. During the interim, executive director of DCHS Matthew Carter will be filling in at the site until a new person is hired.

Frequent visitors of the LeDuc Historic Estate in Hastings might be familiar with Deaver's energy and passion for the historic site. It was a difficult decision to move on from the site manager position, but she said that she hopes the LeDuc will continue moving forward.

Deaver will be moving on to BreakAway Arts and Cafe in Hastings with a new role as operational director.
