Hastings Middle School held its annual tug-o-war Friday, May 27. Classes fielded their best tugging teams and went head-to-head for all the glory.

The event is a fundraiser for Hastings Family Service. This year, more than $9,000 was raised for HFS. The two classes that raised the most per grade got to participate in the tug of war. The winning team at each grade advanced to compete against the winners of the other grades, until the top team faced the school’s faculty team.
