Police report preview - Dec. 27 to Jan. 3

• A 14-year-old Hastings boy took his mother's vehicle and some money at around 10 p.m. Dec. 27 from Frederick Circle. The vehicle was later located. The male fled on foot. He has later located and has been referred to juvenile court.

Another14-year-old juvenile was located in the car and was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Officers were called by homeowners indicating their adult son had come home highly intoxicated at 2:43 a.m. Dec. 31. The man was argumentative and wouldn't settle down. The father attempted to get the son to calm down but couldn't get him to do so.

He was ultimately transported to Ramsey County Detox.

• $5,000 was stolen from the Coliseum bar at 4:11 a.m. Jan. 1. The money was in a cash bag in the bar area. The matter is under investigation and there are several persons of interest.
