Rivertown days is around the corner
Rivertown Days returns to Hastings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 15-17. The three-day event takes place in locations around Hastings including Jaycee Park and the LeDuc Estate grounds.
Activities this year at Jaycee Park range from carnival rides to dock dog shows to BMX bicycle stunt shows.
The weekend will have performances by GB Leighton, AFTERBURNER and Jonah & The Whales and more.
Aside from the fun activities, a variety of family-friendly shows include Choo Choo Bob’s Engineer Paul and Friends, and the grand fireworks over the Mississippi River at 10 p.m. on July 16.
Festival-goers can stroll the new Hastings RiverWalk to the Rotary Pavilion or enjoy downtown sidewalk sales, duck races, hot air balloons or artist showcases.
If that didn’t make you want to go, there’s also a craft fair that will be held at the LeDuc Estate grounds featuring arts and crafts from all around.
The Hastings Rivertown Days grand parade will take place at noon on July 17, starting at Ramsey and 10th streets heading north and continuing through downtown and ending at Wilson Park.
