Two join to offer Vacation Bible School 
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and First Presbyterian Church are joining together again for offer their second annual vacation Bible school. It will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 19 to July 23 at St. Luke’s, 615 Vermillion St.

Memorial Day event features creator of ‘Beyond the Yellow Ribbon’ 
Chaplain (Lt. Col.) John J. Morris, command chaplain, 34th Red Bull Infantry Division, who recently returned from his third tour of duty in Iraq, will be the featured speaker at the Memorial Saturday observance May 29 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church-Basswood Grove, north of Hastings.
