Focus group seeks input
A metro-wide focus group is looking for caregiver input. The Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging is teaming up with Wilder Research to host a series of focus groups across the metro area over the next six weeks. If you are an adult who provides care to a family member or friend over age 60, or an individual (of any age) with Alzheimer’s Disease, you may be eligible to participate. Each focus group will last about 90 minutes and a meal will be served. All participants will receive a $20 gift card for their time.

Spring break events at the Pleasant Hill Library
The Pleasant Hill Library will host a number of programs and events during Hastings’ Spring Break Week for children of all ages. There is no charge for any of the events, and no registration is required. Legos and Duplos on Tuesday, March 12, at 10:30 a.m. Children age 2 to 12 years old are invited to the library to let their imaginations go wild as they create fun and interesting forms using Legos and Duplos. This event will last about one hour.

A man reportedly damaged property at a business in the 1100 block of Bahls Drive. A man had damaged a bracket for a security camera. The damage appeared to stem from an argument two men had about puzzles. One man was accusing another of stealing his puzzle pieces, preventing him from finishing his hobby.
