Alex Eggert is the Rotary Club’s student of the month
Her teachers have nominated her for the award, and have written this summary of her accomplishments. “Alex has served as a student aide in my adapted physical education classes for the past three years. She works with special needs students in a physical education setting helping them develop their fitness, motor and social skills, and independence. Alex is caring and compassionate, but also pushes students to work to their ability level. She is able to handle difficult and challenging behaviors in a calm and effective manner. She is more than willing to take direction from staff but readily recognizes where she is needed and can independently jump in and take hold of a situation. Her efforts have earned my confidence and trust as she continues to be a tremendous asset to me in the classroom.
