Eugene J. "Ebo" Dummer, age 78, of Hastings, died March 20 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
The funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 22, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Hastings, with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment in the parish cemetery will be held at a later date.

I worked with Ebo for many years. When he would go on his many trips around the world, he would bring me back thimbles, as I collect them. When he stopped in at treasure island, he would always come over to say hi. I visited him in the nursing home a few years ago when he injured his knee falling at the post office.
