Michael J. Schwinghamer, 63

Michael J. Schwinghamer, age 63, of Hastings, passed away at home Oct. 10.

He was born in New Rockford, N.D., to Elmer and Ann Schwinghamer, on July 16, 1949.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and brother James.

He is survived by his siblings Mary (Robert) Grimm, Thomas (Kathy) Schwinghamer, Fr. David Schwinghamer, Anthony Schwinghamer; nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Fr. David Schwinghamer and Fr. Cole Kracke, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday Oct. 13, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Pallbearers are Chris Grimm, Ann Grimm, Terri Curry, Joe Schwinghamer, Jack Schwinghamer, and Dave Schwinghamer. Interment will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Sharing and Caring Hands.
