Lorrayne M. Van De Steeg, 87

Lorrayne M. Van De Steeg, age 87, of Hastings, passed away Aug. 18 at Regina Assisted Living.

She was born in Melrose, Minn., on Aug. 26, 1924, to Louis and Theresa Gerlach.

Lorrayne was preceded in death by her husband, M. Franklin Van De Steeg, and brother Bud Gerlach.

She is survived by her daughter, Roxann (Dave) Bergquist of Rosemount; sons, Carl (Judy) Van De Steeg of Farmington and Rev. Frank (Lynette) Van De Steeg of Hastings; granddaughters, Nicole (Kevin) Stevens of Lakeville, Heidi (Randy) Langenfeld of So. St. Paul, and Rochelle (Steve) Weidall of St. Francis; grandsons, Carl (Lisa) Van De Steeg of St. Paul Park and Tony (Heidi) Van De Steeg of Waterford; eight wonderful great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille Gerlach of Bloomington; brothers Maurice Gerlach of Bloomington and Louis (Jane) Gerlach of Encumclaw, Wash.

Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Fr. Robert Altier, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Regina Memorial Chapel, 1175 Nininger Rd., Hastings. Burial will be in Bloomington Cemetery, Bloomington.
