Wayne M. Nicklay, age 75, of Hastings, died Sept. 10 in Hastings.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh St., Hastings, and also 1 hour prior to the service. The funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Interment with military honors provided by the Hastings VFW Lyle Russell Post #1210 will follow in the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the American Cancer Society or Juvenile Diabetes Research.
