Edward 'Jim' Thomas, 86

Edward James "Jim" Thomas, age 86 of Hastings, died Sunday, Aug. 19, at his home.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 7th St. E., Hastings, and 1 hour prior to service at church. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Doug Duin, will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Our Saviour's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 9th St. W., Hastings. Interment, with military honors provided by the Hastings VFW Lyle Russell Post 1210, will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings.

Memorials are preferred to Hastings Family Service or Our Saviour's Lutheran Youth Activities.
