Deborah Lamb, 61

Deborah Jayne MacMillan Lamb, age 61, of Hastings, passed away July 22 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Deborah was born Feb. 26, 1951, in St. Louis Park, to Howard and Mary MacMillan. She graduated from St. Louis Park High School in 1969 and was employed for many years by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

She loved travel and adventure. She lived in Colorado and Hawaii and traveled the world with her family. She enjoyed spending time with Pete on their boat or camping, entertaining with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and niece Amy.

Deborah is survived by her loving husband, Peter; sons, Aaron, Steven, and Charles (Dani); grandchildren, Riley and Harper; sister, Peggy MacMillan (Mike Wilhelm); brother, Bill (Glenda); brothers-in-law, Tom (JoAnn), Charlie (Kristie), and Rich (Stephani); many nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. A gathering will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home. Many thanks to her special friends Kim and Cathy for all their support.
