Dale G. Hoopman, 69

Dale G. Hoopman, age 69, of Hastings, passed away peacefully on May 27.

Born in Cresco, Iowa. Graduate of Northern Iowa University with a master's degree. Dale was an art teacher but later changed his career to a design consultant. Retired from Ethan Allen Furniture Gallery, Des Moines, Iowa.

Preceded in death by father, Gordon.

Survived by his wife, Teresa; mother, Frances; sister, Karen (Paul) Vencill of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Teresa's parents, Art and Marie Kruger; her sister, Jan (Paul) Woxland; nieces and nephews.

Memorial service 11 a.m. Thursday, June 14, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 400 W. 9th St., Hastings. Visitation 1 hour before service. Private interment Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Lung Association or Our Saviour's Church.
