William C. Strick, 76

William C. Strick of Hastings, Minn., died on Feb. 6 at the age of 76 at Augustana Health Care Center of Hastings. Born in Hibbing, Minn.

William C. Strick of Hastings, Minn., died on Feb. 6 at the age of 76 at Augustana Health Care Center of Hastings. Born in Hibbing, Minn.

Preceded in death by parents, Henrietta and William Strick Sr.

Survived by wife of 54 years, Janet; son, David Strick; daughters, Gail Sinclair, Carol Lee (husband Tom); grandchildren, Nathan and Miranda Lee.

He was choir director for many years at the Methodist church. He enjoyed classical music and meeting with friends and family. He attended the University of Duluth. He taught English and music in Bemidji for 10 years, then Hastings Jr. High in developmental reading and English for 25 years.

Thanks to the wonderful, compassionate care of the staff at Augustana.

Memorial service 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Our Saviour's Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 W. 9th St., Hastings, MN 55033. Visitation at 10 a.m. Memorials preferred to Augustana Health Care Center of Hastings or the church.

I am sorry to hear the passing of Mr. Strick. He was my English teacher back in the late 70's. He was a great teacher. You are all in my prayers. Barbara Tonkin (Matz) Evansville, Indiana
