John Arthur Schmidt, 88, of Chetek, Wis. (formerly of Hastings, Minn., and Westbrook, Minn.), went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, Jan. 29, at the Mayo Clinic Health Care System North in Barron, Wis.
A memorial service will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Chetek at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2. The visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Following the service, the Schmidt family would like to invite their guests to join them for fellowship and lunch at the church. John will be laid to rest at the Lakeview Cemetery in Chetek.
