Kevin Patrick Rynes, 48

Kevin Patrick Rynes age 48, of Hastings, passed away Jan. 7.

He was born in Madison, to Norman and Dorothy (Thompson) Rynes on April 9, 1963. He graduated from Mad East High School.

He lived in Madison until 2003 and moved to Hastings with his family. Kevin loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews. Music and game shows were his passion, along with Pow Wows and fry bread.

Kevin is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sisters, Jan Johnson of Madison; Sheila (Don) Hamilton of Hastings; Kathleen Rynes of Madison; Shannon (Craig) Zarn of Madison; brother, Dan (Cindy) Rynes of Brodhead, WI; nieces, Monica; Ocie; Tiffany; nephews, Rex; Paul; Patrick; Damian; Nicholas; Jason; Scott; several great-nieces and great-nephews; uncle, Dennis (Shirley) Rynes of Madison; many cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be held 1–4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the 2nd Street Depot, 320 2nd St. E., Hastings. Visit www.wisefamilyfh.com to sign the online guestbook and view the memorial video tribute. Wise Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
