Christina M. Cunningham, 96

Christina M. Cunningham, age 96, of Hastings, passed away at Regina Nursing Home on Nov. 6.

She was born in Birmingham, England, to Lawrence and Kathleen Watkins on Nov. 6, 1915. She married Ian D. Cunningham on Aug. 23, 1941, in England. Christina was a member of the Hastings Women's Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ian D. Cunningham; sister Audrey Fahey; daughter-in-law, Mieke Cunningham; brother-in-law, Brian Fahey.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Cunningham; and daughter, Juliet (Dennis) Johnson; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister Gloria Low; and sister-in-law, Marianne Cunningham.

A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Frank Van De Steeg, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 615 Vermillion St., Hastings. A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at church. Interment will be at St. Luke's Cemetery.
