14-year-old arrested after joyride in Hastings
Hastings police responded to a hit-and-run incident at Hastings Middle School at 2:57 p.m. A driver reported his truck had been damaged while he was inside the school. A witness provided the suspect vehicle’s license plate to police, which showed the vehicle had been stolen from an auto repair business along South Frontage Road on Feb. 13. The vehicle had been parked in the business’s lot overnight for repair.By: Katrina Styx, The Hastings Star-Gazette
