Donations sought to benefit former Hastings woman who is adopting two children in UgandaThe family of Lise Sievers, who is in Uganda completing the adoption of two special needs children, is collecting items for a garage sale planned for May 3-5. The money raised will help pay for plane tickets home. Sievers is the former Hastings woman who was at the center of a wild ordeal at Chicago's Midway Airport last week. Her plane was quarantined when it was feared she had monkeypox. In reality, she had picked up a case of the bed bugs while in Uganda.
