Wrestling: Hastings has little trouble winning Dave Arens Classic
In another strong performance by the Hastings wrestling team, they showed why they are one of the best teams in the state. Showing sustained consistency in the lineup, the Raiders trounced their competition on their way to winning the Dave Arens Classic. Hastings won 35 of 42 matches in the tournament, with 17 wrestlers scoring points for the team. As a whole, the team amassed 21 pins, three technical falls, two major decisions, four decisions, and were awarded five forfeits.By: Gary LaChance, The Hastings Star-Gazette
