Eric F. Rego, age 25 of Hastings, died unexpectedly on Dec. 26, 2008 after a brief respiratory illness. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Lloyd Menke, will be held at Our Saviour’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 West 9th Street, Hastings at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31. The visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. 7th St., Hastings and also 1 hour prior to the service at church.
