Annette Lewanski, 87

Annette Rose Lewanski, age 87, of Hastings, passed away March 8 at Regina Assisted Living.

She was born in International Falls, Minn., on Jan. 12, 1926, to Joseph and Vina Turenne. She married Edward Lewanski at St. Bernard's in St. Paul on July 5, 1947.

Annette is survived by her husband, Ed; children, Jeanne (Bill) Loesch, Jerome (Janis), Sherry (Lee) Schmitz, Jim (Joy), Tom (Gail), and Michael; grandchildren: Jacob, Casey and Catie; Marya and Greta; Corah and Owen; Eric and Brandon; Anna, Alex, and Josh; Aiyana, Summer, and Saura; great-grandsons: Leo, Eddie, and Charlie; and William and Calvin; brothers, Bob (Grace) Turenne and Ted Turenne; sisters, Ann Branchaud and MaryAnn Cegon; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 11, at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings, and 1 hour prior to Mass at church on Tuesday. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
