Moti joins Wako family
Moti Mekonnen Wako was born on Feb. 21, 2012, at Regina Medical Center to Bune Shendho and Mekonnen Abakore of Hastings. At birth Moti weighed 7 pounds, 8.3 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

Moti has four siblings, brother Naaol and sisters Chattu, Jalane and Obse. Grandparents are Wako Abakore and Kibo Godane of Bore, Ethiopia, and Zenebech Udo of Wadara, Ethiopia. Moti’s great-grandparent is the late Abakore Aga of Bore, Ethiopia
