• A shoplifter was caught at a store in the 1700 block of Frontage Road at 10:54 a.m. on Feb. 13.
The man had concealed a shirt and left the store.
The suspect had just been released from the Dakota County Jail the day before. He was arrested and taken back to jail.
• A disorderly patron at a bar in the 100 block of 11th Street attempted to fight with a bartender before being escorted out of the bar. The call came in at 9:11 p.m. on Feb. 14. According to police, the man was yelling at other customers to have a drink with him, and was using vulgar language.
When he was escorted out, he grabbed a photo on the wall and broke it.
The man fled on foot when approached by officers. A Dakota County Sheriff’s Office sergeant located the man behind a nearby gas station. He was arrested for fleeing a peace officer on foot, disorderly conduct and damage to property.
• Officers received the report of a loud noise coming from a room in the 300 block of 33rd Street. Officers responded and cited three males for the underage consumption of alcohol.
The call came in at 3:56 a.m. on Feb. 15.
The three admitted to smoking cigars, smoking from a hookah pipe and consuming alcohol.
