• A report of a male on a snowmobile led to a DUI arrest.
Officers were called to the area of Starling Drive and Martin Lane on the report of an intoxicated snowmobile operator. The report was made by an off-duty law enforcement official, who had received reports that the man was driving across lawns with his snowmobile.
The snowmobiler was located by police. His preliminary blood alcohol content registered at .33.
• An intoxicated male yelling in the hallway of an apartment in the 2200 block of Cannon Street was taken to the Ramsey County detox at 1:09 a.m.
Initially the man was trying to wake up his girlfriend, who was inside the apartment.
The girlfriend took the man in and told him to go to bed.
He then got into a verbal argument with a neighbor in the hallway.
Officers then took the man to detox.
• A possible intoxicated person was witnessed getting out of a vehicle in the 200 block of 33rd Street.
The male had been stumbling inside the store and smelled of alcohol.
He admitted to driving his vehicle to the store. He said he three, four or five Grain Belt Nordeast beers. He failed field sobriety tests and was arrested.
He had a preliminary blood alcohol concentration of .194.
